With a commitment to social justice, Sierra is earning her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice, specializing in Global Human Rights, Sierra Long is dedicated to fostering meaningful change. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she also gained a deep foundation in Women’s and Gender Studies.
With a passion for community advocacy and storytelling, Sierra envisions spaces where people can deconstruct cycles of socialization, empower one another through connection and self-compassion, and find liberation through creative expression. She is committed to multicultural education, intersectionality, and collective healing, believing that creative writing can be a catalyst for social change.
